I wanted to let everyone know Hawaiian Telecom is now installing High Speed unlimited internet to most if not all of Eden Roc. It took them a few months to run the lines and they are now taking install requests. They will need room to add a line from the Pole to your house. Currently in November 2017 there was about a 3 week to a month wait list for the install. The crew is even working weekends.
They are offering a fiber optic service up to 1 Gig this should be one of the fastest on the market and will not have a cap on downloads.
My service is scheduled to be installed soon, so I will post an update after the install to let everyone know how things go.

This is wonderful news. Thanks for keeping this absentee landlord up to date on all things Eden Roc. Just another year and a half until I can move into the cottage.

I just checked availability on their web site and it seems like everything up to Gigabyte fiber is available at our address (back on 19)
