Volunteer Fire Department

According to the poster, the volunteer fire department is made up entirely of Fern Forest residents and they are looking for more volunteers, especially from Eden Roc.

Yes, all of our volunteers have moved on, except for Sky Mullins acting fire chief for Eden Roc, we are currently looking for people who want to volunteer. It's a tough job, but hopefully as new people move in we can again get a volunteer crew.

I would not mind learning more about it in the spring. I recently went back to school. It's been over ten years I was In The submarine force we would practice weekly and had a lot of cool toys. Even if I can just help out some is better than nothing.
I have active DL, CERT, CPR, first Aid, FCC amateur radio operator South Hilo Rotary member and I have a very wide range of skills.
