Board Members Present: Kolea Quincey, Tim Hill, Fred Benardella and Pam Jones.

Meeting Called To Order: 10:05 AM

Abandoned Cars: Seven more have been tagged and will be removed. Still many others have to be tagged and removed. Pam would call and check on getting them towed out.

Neighborhood Watch: There has been a few break-ins probably no more than any other neighborhood, but we need to keep our eyes and ears open and be aware of what is going on around us. Neighborhood watch number is 968-6024 to report things and they will be checked out.

Park Report: The steel carport previously approved was purchased and put in. Now you can get out of the rain at the park while you cook on the grille or play at the park.

Volunteer Fire Department: Solar power for electric pump for the water and lights in the firehouse is on hand and will be installed as soon as we get some volunteers. No one was present to give us an update.

Road Report: The front entrance was repaved and a second lane was put down on Kahikopele about one third it’s length. The road between Fern Acres and Eden Roc has become a real problem. We are going to check the cost of dropping Boulders across the right of way and making a wall out of them. They, Fern Forest use it to enter our roadways because theres are in such bad shape. We will start by getting prices from local merchants to accomplish this. Remember main road right of ways are 60 feet (Kahikopele, Palainui Av., Ohia Av., Ahi St., Punahele St., and Punawai St.) and side roads are 40 feet. If current owners would clear their right of ways the association could save a lot of money.

Old Business: Don’t forget answering machine for Eden Roc is 968-8484. Remember in an emergency call 911. Coqui frog spraying continues in some areas and seems to be helping.

New Business: Motion made and seconded to pay 2000.00 (for the year) to weed wack the corners of intersections every three months. Motion also made and seconded to weed wack the sides of the roads for 2000.00 starting at the Eden Roc entrance. Fred to get with attorney to see what it would cost to change our by-laws should it be necessary.
