May 20, 2006 Minutes

Board Members Present: Louie Miller, Tim Hill, and Fred Benardella.

Meeting Called To Order: 10:00 AM

Treasurer’s Report:
Beginning balance: $50,726.65 Trust At: $178,312.00
Debits: 6,630.47
Credits: 6,347.29
Balance: 53,227.60
Park: 3,459.22
Fire Station: 3,510.10

Abandoned Cars: None removed in the past month. This is the last reminder about the county program to remove them from private property at no charge. This program ends June 30th.

Neighborhood Watch: Only one minor incident reported concerning loose dogs. No thefts or anything else were reported. Don’t forget to try to attend the Neighborhood Watch meetings.

Park Report: Poles are drilled for fence around park and as soon as the weather breaks will try to install them. Park lawn was mowed.

Volunteer Fire Department: No one at meeting to give the report.

Road Report: Still trying to get someone to clear trees at entrance to Eden Roc. Bids have been received but they are very high. Looking at alternatives and other sources. Hope to get this done and repave the entrance. New Stop signs have been received and will try to make arrangements to get them installed. Still under consideration is widening our road right of ways, clearing back trees, brush and rocks.

Old Business: The packet of information to be given out to association members to let them know what is going to be done has been received. It is ready to be passed out. Separate phone number and answering machine for Eden Roc is 968-8484. Some potholes have been filled.

New Business: Association Insurance has been received for the coming year. Looking at raising the association fees as we have limited income to accomplish anything. Couqi frog spraying continues. Permission voted on and passed to grant access to the parks for Couqi frog spraying.
