Board Members Present: Dave Vanderwalle, Louie Miller and Tim Hill

Meeting to Order: 10:00 a.m.

Treasurer’s Report:
Beginning balance: $48445.40 Trust $180722.00
Debits: 620.53
Credits: 755.00
Balance: 48579.87 $40,000 allocated to road paving
Park: 256.82
Fire Station: 1624.03

Abandoned Cars: The County now has forms for free car removal. If you have a car(s) on your property you want towed call 961-8083 and request the form.

Neighborhood Watch: Drive by shooting – Samoan – Teenage girl broke up with boyfriend was arrested.
Fire station was burglarized – new tarp tents stolen $250.00.
Arson in South Kopua Farmlots, someone tried to burn down a house.
Fire Station door has been re-secured.
Tim said nobody showed up for the neighborhood watch meeting. Interest has fizzled.

Park Report: Meet your neighbor party was a success. There was lots of food. Pipes for fence still need to be drilled.

Volunteer Fire Dept.: Fire in South Kopua Farmlots. Structure was saved. It was arson. One call, un-permitted burning. Make sure you call the NON-emergency fire department number if you are going to burn rubbish. The only legal fires are for cooking.

Road Report: Loffler will pave the end of August on Ohia St. Speed bumps at the end of Ohia and Palainui at the stop signs only has been proposed for months. LET’S DO IT One person opposes the majority want us to do something to SLOW down the people, vocal minority are opposed.
Tim needs to order 2 new stop signs and 4 “warning speed bumps” signs. Should come under the $500 spending limit.

Old Business: Recycling project is still scheduled for September. Star, coordinator, need date???
