EDEN ROC ESTATES ASSOCIATION
August 21, 2004 MINUTES

Board Members Present: Louie Miller, Tim Hill, Dave Vanderwalle and Darren Schmidt

Meeting to Order: 10:00 a.m.

Treasurer�s Report:
Beginning balance :$52312.14 Trust $185836.00
Debits: 1709.52 (available 1/1/04)

Fire Station: 1149.30

Abandoned Cars: The bulk of the cars that were tagged have been removed.

Neighborhood Watch: Tim Hill called the police and caught the kids that are drag racing on the streets. Four citations were written. Construction material was stolen on road 26 and on road 21 some vandalism was done.

Park Report: The doors and trim has been stained. The next phase is to cut two window holes in the back, set the toilet and sink and call for a final. Louie thought the grant was approved but no one has returned his phone calls.
The firehouse needs to be painted as some rust is showing up. Louie has found someone to do the painting. Now for the big question, what color to paint it? Come to the meeting with your suggestions.
Kids are still driving on the grass and tearing it up. Dave suggested we fertilize the grass and maybe reseed it.
Dave wants the third Saturday of each month to be volunteer day. After the meeting get people to help fix up the park, do work around the subdivision etc.

Volunteer Fire Dept.: No calls this month.

Road Report: Yamada came out and measured. We will have about 3 quarters of a mile paved.
Louie made a motion to allocate another $2000.00 for roadside mowing for the next 6 months.
Dave has access to a small dump truck and is willing to use it on the third Saturday to remove rubbish from the side of the roads.
Dave thanked Louie for all he does for the community. If it weren�t for him very little progress would be made in our subdivision.
Another 20 tons of rock was dumped this month.

Old Business: Dave talked to councilman Jacobson and was told he was interested in helping us remove the trees out front by the rock wall. HELCO contacted Jacobson about helping get them removed
Couqi frogs Dave was able to remove them from his property.

New Business: No new business
